Some reasons this occurs can include:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Physical trauma.<\/strong> If you participate in high-contact sports or martial arts, you\u2019re likely to take a blow to the face at some point. If the force is strong enough, it can damage or completely dislodge a tooth.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Gum disease.<\/strong> Your gums are the connective tissue that helps hold your teeth in place. There\u2019s a good chance that the underlying cause will only progress and make it worse in time. By visiting them earlier on, they\u2019re able to provide appropriate remedies before more damage is done. For example, they can recontour your gums and clear away any disease before your tooth is lost entirely if they find that\u2019s the issue.
